Casting Arcady and Zene

Ah, casting, thy name is delirious fun.

This is Sebastian Arcady: a young Jeremy Brett in a secondary role in My Fair Lady.

Jeremy Brett has also played Sherlock Holmes in the Granada series adaptations of the Canon stories. His neurotic, energetic interpretation of the character set the definition for Holmes ever since the 90’s.

It’s fitting that Arcady and one of the most recognized Holmes actors should share a resemblance in my head.

As for Zene, this is a Phineas who has seen better days: Sam Elliot as he is now.

Sam Elliot has starred in many roles, including The Golden Compass, Ghost Rider, and Tombstone.

If I ever pick up the skill of writing a comics script, and I can find an artist, and blah blah blah, I may be able to create an Arcady and Zene comic; won’t that be fun? Probably won’t happen, but one can dream, eh?

The very late 11th part of “Crime and Violins” will be up Tuesday 7:15am PST, with part 12 following the usual schedule of Friday 7:15am PST.

Until next time, very euphorically yours,
The Guilty One
